Cindy is a retired IRS Special Agent turned small business advocate. She began her government career as a revenue agent, and concluded her 30 years of government service as a special agent with the IRS’ Criminal Investigation. She has experience in financial audits, forensic accounting, and criminal investigation. Cindy is committed to helping small business owners, using her unique skill set to become a small business advocate and specialist. Cindy joined C&J with the goal of assisting aspiring entrepreneurs to enter business ownership, and supporting established small businesses in developing or improving their financial processes.

James is a passionate financial coach, committed to empowering entrepreneurs. He began his career in Construction Accounting, but has garnered over 20 years’ experience in Engineering, Legal, Healthcare, and Banking. He opened his own small services, Books and Balances, in 2007. James is driven by the desire to create value by assisting clients in designing and implementation of systems and processes necessary to achieve impact and success. He met Cindy at a Thiel College Alumni Event in 2018, subsequently forming C&J Financial Foundations, to help take small businesses to the next level.
